What's so appealing about Hex??

Hex fits securely into rack system's "multi-clamps"
because of its shape.

Hex cannot rotate out-of-alignment in clamp
-
They are solid, so they won't bend or collapse
when clamp is tightened (unlike tubular steel).

Hex stacks nicely together, taking up less
space than round shafts, which is a good thing for working drummers...
